Dear Parents and Friends,
I trust that this newsletter finds you well, and if you are enduring a challenging situation, I
hope it will pass quickly.

We resumed the second half-term and were delighted to see our students returning – bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Thank you to the parents who made the time to attend the Academic Review for the Year 7’s and 8’s, which afforded you opportunities to discuss your child’s performance. In addition to this, your child’s continuous assessment scores were available on the JHC SDS on the same day. And I do not doubt that you gave the necessary encouragement. Continue reading….

10 January 2024

Dear Parents and Friends,
I trust all is well and that you had time to spend with family and friends over the festive season.

Our students in residence returned on Sunday, with the whole school resuming this Monday.
Some students found it challenging to stay alert at the assembly as they were still in holiday
mode and nodding off. But we will soon shake off the rust of the holidays and full steam ahead
in the routines of teaching & learning and co-curricular activities. We want to thank our parents
for ensuring that the students turned up ready and having the right gear. Continue reading…..

th December 2023

Dear Parents and Friends,

I trust that this newsletter finds you well. Today culminated in the last day of this term, a period filled with many activities – from examinations to inspections and celebrations to reflections.

We find ourselves in the Christmas period with opportunities to spoil our loved ones not only with material gifts but with the blessings of love, friendship, attention, and care. But spare a thought for those who are less fortunate than we are, spiritually and materially.
And when the noise of this world quiets down, we can meditate on our blessings and how, as an individual, a family, and a community, we can spread goodwill. After all, Margaret J. Wheatley stated, ‘Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.Continue reading…

journey, and together we will take the College to new heights! Continue reading….

Dear Parents and Friends,
‘Mo gbẹkẹle pe gbogbo rẹ dara ati pe a ni ibukun paapaa nigba ti a ko ba lero ni awọn igba.’ And it is always good to have our students back after the short break. However, there are still a few parents who need to do more to ensure that their children are appropriately dressed, correct
school shoes, have clean uniforms and appropriately monogrammed, boys’ haircuts not short enough, etc. This request has now been shared for the umpteenth time and it’s getting long in the tooth. Do not be surprised if the College calls you to collect your child to become compliant. Continue Reading….
