students at James Hope are either boarders or day students. This enables the school to deliver extended classes and an enviable range of extra-curricula activities.
Where possible it is intended that classes will not exceed 20 students to one teacher.
We are still expanding our roll (student numbers) as a school. However, the maximum class size f is 20 students.
Detailed security plans and contingencies have been put in place. You can gain a better insight into security at James Hope College during the interview stage with the Principal. As you can appreciate, discretion is key to maintaining proficient security arrangements.
We constantly review our security and safety arrangements and the Head of Security reports directly to the Principal to ensure actions in relation to security or health & safety are expediently handled. Overall, students are continually trained and reminded of security measures within their ambit.
Our Discipline Policy, is available on request. Our approach to discipline is predicated on mutual respect irrespective of age or status. Where students fall foul of the rules commensurate sanctions and restorative justice tactics will be applied in all situations.
Please be aware that James Hope College is not in affiliation with any organisation in providing entrance examinations, including pre-tests, for admission to the College.
Anyone patronising one is doing so at his or her own risk.
