Dear Parents and Friends,

I trust that you enjoy good health.
With the extension of schools not resuming, I am happy to report that teaching & learning continues for all students. It is imperative that students continue to be part of these e-learning engagements as assignments will form part of the final year mark.

Equally important is that the learning content needs to be absorbed as we will write term 3 examinations albeit in an abbreviated form, either when school resumes this term or early in the next academic year. To note, when College resumes there will not be enough time for revision in terms of the aforesaid, thus the emphasis on completing the prescribed work and submission of assignments.

If for some reason the students are experiencing any challenges with the
downloading & uploading of schoolwork, then feel free to contact the respective teacher or Mr. Clement Ikuyinminu at your soonest convenience.

We will leave no stone unturned to ensure that all students have equal access to teaching & learning during thiscovid-19 lockdown.

The Covid-19 pandemic has thrusted upon us a newnormal’, where the way we did and viewed things now requires adjustments, a true paradigm shift. In this regard,  I want to thank all parents, students and staff for embracing these changes, especially in the realm of education. Change is never easy but, in the end, we will reap the full benefits.

In conclusion, ‘When we are no longer able to change a situation – we are challenged to change ourselves’; and, ‘It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be’.

Keep safe until we meet again.

Yours truly,
Abraham. P. Swart
Principal
