STEM is a hands-on club based around Science, Design Technology, ICT, Engineering, Mathematics, or a mixture of these subject areas. It is designed to enhance students understanding and experience of STEM subjects in a way they cannot pursue in their lessons.
Students learn about troubleshooting their experiments, and will likely be more self-sufficient in class due to increased confidence in their problem-solving abilities. They are introduced to a broader range of STEM topics than those covered by the curriculum, so there is more scope for finding something they really enjoy, increasing their enthusiasm for STEM in general. It improves thinking, listening and speaking skills as well as team work.
Please be aware that James Hope College is not in affiliation with any organisation in providing entrance examinations, including pre-tests, for admission to the College.
