IQ Development

The chess club is held each week. Students are encouraged to develop their skill. Chess assists in the development of memory and creativity, raising the students IQ as it exercises both sides of the brain. Studies have shown that students who take engage in chess can display an overall improvement in their ability to learn. Chess is a fun activity that improves memory skills and develops logical thinking and strategy.

Chess is a rewarding game as the more the student practices the better they become. It integrates in the extra curricular programme well combining aspects of mathematical, scientific and creative thinking. Students can benefit from improved concentration as they learn to master the many moves and tactics of this fascinating game.
