On Friday, 19 June 2026, five of our Year 12 students were celebrated for excellent achievement in the 2025 IGCSE examinations. This is an annual event under the auspices of the British Council to recognise outstanding achievement in the Cambridge examinations. The acronym BROCLA symbolises this partnership: British Council Recognition and the Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award. This is the epitome of achievement in these examinations in Nigeria and the world. For
Top in Nigeria (the highest mark in a single subject), Oriel Onyia achieved this distinction in Accounting, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Economics, and Michael Essien in Geography. Oriel achieved ‘Best Across’ in eight subjects , earning him first place in Nigeria. Continue reading….
