As 2026 begins, we expect that AI, global uncertainty and shorter attention spans will shape our future. In Zen Buddhism,shoshin means “beginner’s mind.” It is about approaching something as if you know nothing, even if you are knowledgeable and experienced. At first, this might seem like you are showing incompetence and ignorance, but remember that it is often the experienced and established who get disrupted. Organisations value experience but also fear it. Experience calcifies. It turns insight into habit
