Dear Parents and Friends,
I trust that this newsletter finds you well. Today culminated in the last day of this term, a period filled with many activities – from examinations to inspections and celebrations to reflections.
We find ourselves in the Christmas period with opportunities to spoil our loved ones not only with material gifts but with the blessings of love, friendship, attention, and care. But spare a thought for those who are less fortunate than we are, spiritually and materially.
And when the noise of this world quiets down, we can meditate on our blessings and how, as an individual, a family, and a community, we can spread goodwill. After all, Margaret J. Wheatley stated, ‘Without reflection, we go blindly on our way, creating more unintended consequences, and failing to achieve anything useful.’ Continue reading…
