UPDATE: JAMES HOPE COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAMS ONGOING

The first batch of James Hope College entrance examination was a success. Six centers nationwide on Saturday 27th January 2018 witnessed various entrants vie for an opportunity at the prestigious College. The Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, Enugu, Warri, and Agbor centers had eager parents waiting patiently in the visiting lounge as their children sat for the tests. Perfect decorum was maintained throughout the two-hour examination; after which the prospective students left the hall with smiles on their faces.

The Port Harcourt, Enugu, Warri and Agbor centers are looking forward to welcoming the second batch of potential students on Saturday, 3 February 2018.

JHC ANNUAL FORMAL LUNCH JANUARY 2018

On Saturday, 13th of January 2018, an aura of excitement enveloped the Great Hall of JHC on Saturday 13th January as students and staff marked the annual Formal Lunch. After the three-course meal, the guest speaker, Barrister Nkem Itanyi (a parent) delivered an inspiring lecture on the theme of the day which is “It’s My Choice” . The lecture was interactive and Mrs Itanyi spoke eloquently on critical issues that affect teenagers such as Boyfriend/Girlfriend relationships, Decision-making, Social media effects, Peer pressure and academic distractions. After the lecture the whole school gave a resounding standing ovation which was followed by the Head Boy and Head Girl giving a vote of thanks and presentation of a gift on behalf of the school.

JHC XMAS CONCERT 2017

The annual JHC Xmas Concert for 2017 was held on Sunday, 3rd of December 2017. The Great Hall was filled up with guests and parents with an attendance of more than 600 which is certainly more than the previous year. This year was also different in that we had local schools collaborating with JHC students in producing a few musical items. The audience enjoyed the late afternoon of musical festivities.
